Hi, I'm currently working again on procedural generation of meshes. Now I got stuck at generating UVs automatically and it came to my mind that MED had quite a good unwrapping algorithm. Can you tell if it is an open source implementation so that I can have a look at it?
Yes, have a look in the DirectX SDK. The atlas mapping was used in some samples of the SDK if I remember right. If it's not in the current SDK, then look in the DX9 SDK.
