because the monitor refresh rate is not ms. the ms are the time that is needed in the graphics card to render the new image, again and again... the sync (HZ) rate of your monitor tells how often the screen is refreshed, or how often in the second the "outputted" image of the graphics card is rendered onto the screen, that rate is ALWAYS the same and will not hnage until you chnage it in windows.

Ah that's good to know. I thought it had something to do with creating entities, but sometimes it is high even when no entity is created. Luckyly (?) I only get little problems when it is raining and I'm around a water area and the raindrops hit the water making little waves. hmm... problems is good, the FPS drops from 60 to around 45, so not critical...
