I'm new to Zorro (Zorro S 1.50 with real FXCM account) and I'm still trying to figure out how to deal with the various errors I'm running into. I'd like to try trading the Z12 strategy but haven't been able to get get it working.

The error I'm running into now is this:

Z12 (oP group) ..
Login FXCM.. at UTC 14.10. 20:08
Z12.45: NFA FX PH PR M 100 H 5 W 2 V 2
Loading EUR/USD prices.. 300 h, gap 1023788 h, 1940 bars added
Loading USD/CHF prices.. 300 h, gap 1023788 h, 1940 bars added
Loading GBP/USD prices.. 300 h, gap 1023787 h, 1940 bars added
Loading USD/CAD prices.. 300 h, gap 1023787 h, 1940 bars added 10 h
Loading AUD/USD prices.. 10+300 h, gap 1023788 h
Warning 055: AUD/USD first 338 bars missing
Error 047: not enough bars (162 missing)
Logout.. ok

I've tried using the download script to get M1 data for AUD/USD from 2009-2016 hoping this would fill in the gaps. I also tried 2008-2009. I even tried deleting all the files and redownloading the whole timeperiod again but I still end up with the same error.

If it's relevent, I have an AssetsZ12.csv file and have also tried changing the 'save to' in the download script to reflect this but it's unclear to me if this makes a difference.

What's the approach I should take when encountering errors such as this one?

There is not enough historical data on the server for covering the lookback period. In this case set the Preload flag for using pre-downloaded data.

My Preload flag was already set to 1 in my Z.ini file. Is there anything else I need to do to make that work?

No, and I see now from the message that it was indeed set. And a direct FXCM connection doesn't need it anyway, since their server has enough data.

Your message looks suspicious, though - AFAIK "12.45" is a long outdated Z12 version. So there's maybe something wrong with your installation. Make sure that you haven't mixed up files from old and new versions. For being on the safe side, start with a fresh installation.

Ok, thank you. That does seem to have resolved the issue.
