I've got a VIP client in Hawaii that's getting this error when she tries to run the game. It runs just fine for everyone else, so I'm nearly positive it's something wrong with her computer (as opposed to my perfectly bug-free game
). I believe outdated DirectX would trigger a different error, so I'm assuming it must be a video card driver? What else could cause that kind of error?
Keep in mind I'm trying to walk someone through troubleshooting that has barely any idea where the "on" button is for her computer, so doing any complex trouble-shooting is nearly impossible.
Oh, and to help her troubleshoot it, I made an incredibly simple "Hello World" game for her to run. I figure if that doesn't run, it's GOT to be something about her PC--but I'm still waiting to hear back regarding whether that little test played or not.
