A question for you Marco_Grubert:

Unlike prior updates, this one will also not be 100% compatible to its predecessors.

I have some levels done already, but exists a bug with physics motor in the back tires of a car. So, if the next update will note be 100% compatible to its predecessors, will my levels still work? I know you can say this: "It's a bad idea to rely your game upon future features. Take only into account what's already available in the current version." But the physics engine for cars is available.
Thanks.

While updates may not always be 100% backwards compatible, there is usually a way to achieve the same or improved behavior. Before upgrading to a new version you should make a backup of your GameStudio installation. If the upgrade breaks your game and you can't find a solution to fix it, then just go back to the backup.

Go back to what? I am making a game that use the physics engine, but as you know it has a bug with back tyres when you use it for a car. I wa making my game based on a released feature, the physics engine. But it has a bug:

It appears to be a bug that I had thought fixed a long time ago but which is still in all released versions. I will make sure that it will work with the next Beta version.

So, if I upgrade and the it breaks my game and I can't find a solution to fix it, should I go back to the buggy backup?
