...that needs prompt fixing. ( Whipping rod! ) I was trying to add textures in the texture manger. I selected add folder, and it simply sat there and did nothing. I tried again, same results. THEN, my computer started acting INCREDIBLY sluggish, and it Firefox about 3 min to start, and about 1 min for WED to minimize. I couldnt hear my hard drive clicking, the HDD light flickered like it always does, but my computer was running really slow! Then...the problem magically dissapeared. I tried running my level, and I got script errors that werent there before! Why would var move_target[3]; be an unknown keyword? And why would var vec_position[3]; work at the same time? After rebuilding, updating script in WED etc, I got more errors related to var move_target[3]; , such as move_target not existing/being declared. It practically drove me insane, and my computer started acting up again. So I closed all 3DGS programs, and lo and behold, my computer ran fine for another 2 hours when I shut it off.
I hope you follwed that. I have v.6.31.4.
I wasnt sure about which forum to post in. MacLaren

PIII 500 128mb prototype SDRAM (yes...a prototype) 80gb Ultra ATA 66 HD. (Its ATA right? Cant remeber...) Nvidia GeForce 4 MX
Sorry I was so late in replying.
Thanks McLaren
I have a similar problem when loading a large quantity of textures. I have a texture folder that has over 100mb in textures, when it loads them in it takes about 1 minute to load, and it lags my entire system while WED is running. I can usually run a script editor, WED, play music, and run the engine alright, past that I get performance lag. This is on a AMD 64 1.6ghz laptop w/ 512 2700(333mhz) RAM.
