@Pappenheimer - I have chatted with a few people and it varies a lot. For the most part if you have a large amount of sets in several different categories you can make some money. These types of sets are included in a subscription service so maybe that accounts for some of it. Also the larger number of sets means you are more visible in searches and more likely to be listed as a featured artist, or one of the other 'top seller' and related categories which can drive tremedous traffic. There is an ocean load of textures there so even good ones in very small collections often remain unseen. The individual textures don't seem to sell as well with the possible exception of someone like Marlin Studios whose work is well known.
So if you add a small collection every week or two in a year you could have some nice steady money coming in. Even big guys like Marlin Studios have added thier collections and can be bought individually or as sets where before they didn't -since TS gets 50%- so some heavy volume of sales (or maybe a special deal) must account for these big guys willingness to jump on the TS wagon.
