simply put i want a display of my fps to check how fast my levels are loading...

is there a simple option for this.. or a syntax, function etc?

Actually, all you need is just a digits object like this in a panel:

digits = 0, 0, 5.1, your_font_name, 16, time_fac;

Look up in the manual for the exact digits format. Leave the last two alone. The first four can be changed as needed.

time_fac isn't documented, but recommended in many tuts.
In 3dgs many such undoc 'futures'
How about d3d_shadowsonly, d3d_antialias ?
