here's a question from a noob who cant even spell physicks!

im trying to make a 3D recreation of star control 2
and im having a bit of trouble with the physicks
you see im trying to make gravity emit from a planet, not the ground.

i just cant figure this out, its the first time iv ever worked with physicks

Hi Shof,
Maybe you want to checkout some of the nice physic functions:

ph_setgravity
phent_setmass
phent_setdamping
phent_setfriction
phent_setmaxspeed
phent_setelasticity

Those are all explained in the 3DGS C-Script Editor.
For your question I think "phent_addforcelocal" can help you out. You can force an object depended on its position. Just check this out in the C-Script Editor its well explained there. Also you might check "phent_addforceglobal", with this you can force an object always from the same axis.

thanks for the help, its definetly progress.
the problem is i dont know how to use these lines, its my first time ever using physicks
is there a good tutorial anywhere?
i need some help, until then ill play around with that phent_addforceglobal command.
