Hi all
My name is Peter Flynn. I work at a University in New Zealand (Massey University) where we are doing some research in to driving, attention and cell phone use. We use Game Studio for some simple maze navigation research here and want to use it in the driving research. However our great techie guy , while very good, is not up to making a simulator.

What we need (roughly speaking) is a sim with a view from inside the car of the oncoming road. The ability to change terrains (city street/country road)and conditions (night/day/rain). Most importantly though it needs to be able to be accessed just like a normal GS level. ie we need to have our techie guy get readouts of veering across the road, Reaction time from obstacle appearance until braking etc. I'm not sure what that it is called, open source maybe? Not sure.
Anyway that is it VERY briefly.
We would have perhaps $1000 - $1500 USD avaiable, obviously depending on the final product and much more detailed discussion.

Any suggestions from the community would be welcome.

Cheers
Pete

@Pete -sorry, this is an off topic post but do you know a David Brebner over there? I know he went to Massey University and think he also has done some consulting for them. Feel free to PM me if you do so as to not send your thread off topic.
