Well, it would be nice if we could use all versions below our current. I own A6 Pro and could use A4 Pro - A6 Pro to reflect the client needs. Long time ago I starded with A4 from Sybex but the restrictions with this old release were the main showstopper for me to even start using it for more than a month. But the executables were sooooo small... 480 k for the exe alone

I have to agree 100% with this statement. It would be nice to have all Lower Engine of the same Version.
It does not matter "WHY" If customers of Conitec want it.... It should be provided.
Look at other software comapanies there are many that offer older version on their site or at least on request.
Sure I would probally never downgrade to A4 Commercial but I "Should have that as an option"
Also in rare cases (such as my own) they might even loose money buy not offering it!
Beacause the fact is I Would buy only buy A6 Pro if I had this as an option. "As is" they will never get another penny!
Just my thoughts.....

There is something called "mini games". Those games are sometimes so small that you could send them per email, ...
Sometimes you just need an extra application to setup some options before you launch the main game. A4 is small enough.
Oh, do you remember MODEM or IPX support?... Yes, these things may be outdatet, but there are schools networks still using very ancient protocols on 10 MBit connections...
And ... NO! I would not permanently downgrade! I would like to see it as an option to use it if I am in need to.
If I am not allowed to sell my older version - why should I not use it if it fits best to the problem?
Ok, I am not asking for myself...
