Who cares if its a Majority.... If you don't want it don't use it. Simple as that! If you look at other software you will see that they do provide Earlier releases. , hmmmmmmmmmmmm , EVERYONE ? u said it urself , if you dont want it dont use it
If "You" wern't Being such a "Crackhead".... you would have allready know I'm doing just that allready.
I have been using A5 for Quite some time now.. Other than being a lower edition A5 I'm Very, Very, happy with it!
Why do you even bother to post here if you have nothing postive to say?
There are plenty of other threads ... Why waste your time and ours?
After all its quite obvious to anyone who isn't a "crackhead" that these threads are for PAST Versions!

Radeon 7000, an old ATI card for less than $30 nowadays, comes with DirectX 9. I know because I had one. It's a decent card for running simple games on or for those with almost no budget. I have Radeon 9600 XT myself of which is probably 18 months old or so (given the driver's date of July 2004 (the ones on the CD anyway)). Radeon 7000 is probably 3 or 4 years old. I'm unfamiliar with Nvidia's timeline so I don't know older Nvidia cards and what they have. When I had Radeon 7000, it ran A6 just fine (6.22 anyway, the last A6 version of running on the Radeon 7000. I might upgrade again, but this PCI-express thing is a limiting factor....
Look at the minimum system requirements on Conitec's main website. Even my 5-year-old computer could run it, but barely (except the video card). If all else, just run the engine with -w3d to minimize incompatibilities with old systems.
I'm sure thats perfectly fine for anyone planning to make a Game with A6 and Target 3D Hardware Equiped computer. My Back up computer Wont Even run A6 but A5 it handles nicely. I would by no means consider it anywhere near being time to retire it; As I can burn Cd, DvD, etc.
Still nobody seems to distinguish the differnce on Could, and should. EX: Assuming The customer CAN upgrade... Should they have to? After all their computer works just fine for all their other needs. So they should upgrade just to play "your" GAME?
Well now that were on the subject..... just About all my friends and Everyone (I know) Dont even have an Advanced 3D Card.... they all just have basic video. Really theres only 1 person I know that actually went out and Bought a Advanced 3D Card.
And just for eveyone info... those commands for A6 weak video don't work. They are bogus.
Only Software Emulation will work on Computers with basic Video. Trust Me

Man, I don't know anyone that doesn't have a videocard. Although, having the old versions, just to mess around in would be fun. I'm not against that.

Hi, I´m new here and I have a question to 3D Game Studio 5. Sure, I know that this Thread doesn´t really deal with this version, but I search an update for my 3D GameStudio 5 Extra and I don´t really know where I could post this question, so I post it in that Thread because it deals with "updates". So my problem is that I would like to update to Version 5.240 but I don´t know where I could find this Update (sure I have searched for it, but wasn´t successful) so could someone tell me, where I could find this update, does it still exists online? Please help me, if you can. (Sorry for my strange english, I´m a stupid german, hope you understand my problem)

Hi stupid german!
