I see the same thing from time to time.
WED also offers a recreate render device or what it's called. The problem is just that - at least in A5 - it's very well hidden somehwee in the setup menues (right click). I'd like to have a key for that. Imagine just hitting F12 and there it is again. Is this possible in A6?

Mmm, I just wonder, ever since I've upgraded to 1536Mb memory I've never had that problem anymore, not once, but back when I had an ATI radeon 9600 256mb and just 512mb, I had it quite often, especially in MED ...

Cheers

This happens to me as well, Radeon 9250 128MB... but it goes a step further. If I leave the programs running for a while... say 10 minutes, without using them, when i reopen the program, it gives me a fatal windows error, and shuts down the program. This is usually only in MED, however, I have seen it in WED as well... MED also crashes after I come back from a full screen "engine preview"... If I leave the engine preview in window mode, it dosent crash. Not sure whats going on, but I have asked befor, and didnt really get a straight answer. Thanks.
