Hello,

since im totally new to A6' shader crap, im currently trying to get multitexturing shaders for terrains to work. Actually i am using the ffp5(?) shader from steempipe. The problem is, I don't absolutely get what image files and what skin have to be what exactly and what colors I do need for the blendmap.

If someone could help me there with some images that would explain that, it would be very appreciated.

(yes i did use the forum search and the wiki, but i don't get the things without pics)

best regards
mike

Take a look at the Gamestudio Magazin, Frank has written a tutorial about multitexturing. It explains the effect very well.

You might want to have a look at SMEE Editor 2.0.

There, you can adjust values and change settings without having to recompiling your script every time you want to see the effect of a shader, like multitexturing, environmental bumpmapping, etc.
