If you're referring to MED, I get this quite often too. For some reason, when clicking a face from the 3D view, it selects a face behind it even though an unselected face is chosen up front. I get this whether I'm close or far from the object - it's quite random.

As well a proper depth-test for polygons would be sweeeet! And speed up workflow by, I don't know - quite a high factor, I guess

I think he meant that adding a proper depth test and face highlighting WOULD speed up workflow.
Sometimes you have to read sentences twice.
--- OT: I would really appreciate that too. Aswell as an proper undo/redo select vertices/faces... it would have spared me so many hours of work...

Dont tell me that, I read posts very precisely - when I'm not tired or whatever well, fresh up your grammar! **hint, hint** - It’s nothing personal --> 1st sentence: "As well a proper depth-test for polygons would be sweeeet!" -> feature suggestion 2nd sentence: **And** (conjunction) **speed up** (verb form, imperative) **workflow** (object, feature(?)) **by, I don't know** (introducing method, but he doesnt write this) - **quite a high factor, I guess** (no real suggestion with admittance)

Thanks Mike that's indeed what I was trying to say HeelX, nevermind - I would never ever dare making such imprecise suggestions
