I need help to making a mdl file with character animation for 3dgame studio game engine. First ofall I would like to say that I am facing problem to export 3dmax file into *.X file through Panda x.

I have made a character in 3dmax 8. I have done texturing by unwrap texture and finally I have attached bones with character by skin modifier.

After making some frame of animation I export it into *,x file by panda x plugins. But when I open it in model editor of 3dgame studio A6 engine to making the file in mdl format . Then the mesh of the character distorted totally in different frame. So please help me to solve this problem. Give me the proper way of character modeling and making animation for Game engine purpose.

Hi Jinia and welcome to the forum ,

Sorry I don't understand what your poll is for .

Sounds like you added multiple diffuse maps in 3ds max 8 and applied to different parts of your model. When this happens, after export to MED, all the maps get put into one file and then doesn't line up with mesh.

This might not be your problem though but sounds like it. This can happen but maybe something different happened to you.

Does the skin and mesh look the same in MED and 3ds max? Check them both. More importantly, check MED because that is probably where the problem lies.
