I would like to make multiplayer games. I bought a5, but I recently bought FPSC because it is cheap and makes multiplayer games, but it turned out to be extrememly limited: ie poor outdoor scenes, and in multiplayer mode none of the otherwise animated models or sprites work. I enjoyed building worlds with A5. If I bought the a6 commericial edition, are the objects active, ie do they move and do the decal sprites animate in a multiplayer game? For example, if you wrote a wdl action for an entity, not a gun, compliled the game and sent a cd to a friend, and you both got online playing it, would the actions work on the entities in both games, so he could see what you're doing, what you picked up, or what lever you pull? Or do only the guns work in both versions running? (ie pick up guns and ammo)
2. Would you please you send me the link to a multiplayer demo walking character demo so I can see what its like?

You could definitely do that with A6 Comm, it would just take some planning and programming work. As to an example, I would reccommend running through showcase1 to locate some of damocles multiplayer fps tests (There should be a couple there if you search back a few months).

Thanks! The thing that sucks about FPSC is that altho it can make levels fast, they aren't customizable like 3d Gamestudio. For instance, you can't even put sounds at certain spots to make things more realistic in a fpsc multiplayer game. Thanks, I'll check out those damocles demos. I'd like to get a feel for how a multiplayer world in a6 would feel, before I plunk down $200. I bought a5, but left the original disc in a drawer in Oregon. I don't think they would verify me for an upgrade, but I have all the files on my harddrive like the key or whatever it is. Any ideas about that? Sounds like a new post maybe. i think I could save some bucks on getting A6. Im not even using the same email or CC anymore so it would be hard for them to look it up. The only thing the same as four years ago is my name. Anyway, thanks.
