When I place a light in the level it does not go through the world blocks, but when it comes from the player, from code, it does. Can I make it so the player throws light that will not go through the walls?
this can be because the lights you place in the level are compilated. if you cast a light from the player it only colors the level's normals If conitec has created lights that don't go through level blocks, the engine will be very slow
I don't know if there is a solution, but not I never have seen any
one solution - to plan and test your level. I had same problem with light from the model over the corner or behind closed door. I created some script to detect when I have to ON that lights.

Lion_TS: What do you mean? I am not sure I understand you?
And I thought I read somewhere on this forum there was a guy who solved this by putting map entitys with some flag on in his walls? I used the search but could not find it.
