objects that can be spawned with a parent object, like in flash, were an object takes on it's parents properties, and lets say has its parents rotation+it's own rotation, this would help with so many things! o my gosh!

If you mean in game, you can do this now using the YOU pointer.

yeah, but i mean that it automatically is rotated whenever a parent is rotated, it automatically takes on the alpha, and material properties of its parent.... just stuff like that

If you assign a new material to the parent just assign it to the children. Where's the problem?

just makes it quicker, and if you dynamical created objects that you want to inherit the same values, it'd save a little effort

you can do this now using the YOU pointer.


Blitz3D uses "pivot" to implement this feature which is really very useful
Is it possible to do the same with the you pointer ?
