I think that MED should be more stable. Every now and then, I will be working on a model and suddenly i'll switch to vertex mode, move an object, or even click somthing, and BOOM! Error city. And if you cant make MED more stable, at least make a model Cache which stores everything which you did. Then if MED suddenly shuts down, you can always use the cache to restore you un saved work.

What version do you have? Do you have the 6.40.5 update and the MED supplied with it? I once ran into a bug where, if you pass 16 groups, MED crashed. This bug has been fixed and I tested it. MED, even 6.40.5, is riddled with bugs, many of which minor or average in severity.

Many users have suggested that MED gets improved. Even I say so. MED should be more like WED where you have the tabs on the left containing skins, animation frames, tool options, and various other things. Rather than a bunch of buttons, very narrow input fields with hard-to-see arrows and text due to it being so small, put it all within a single vertical column and have tabs to sort through them, just like WED does. This way, font sizes can be increases, input fields can be made bigger, assigning a texture to polygons is just a mouse-click away, adding new textures is also right in front of you this way and would take a few clicks (rather than having to sort through the menus). I have intentions on making a heavily modified screenshot that shows all this to help explain.
