I've seen other threahs of GTA games here and here, and never seen a real playable demo , they have been abandonned, no news.

I just say what had happened nothing else
I think it's utopia

My project is still alive though, however I'm still in the process of switching my full project from block-based levels to model based levels and that takes a hell of a lot of time.

I've got the core AI and player/car code fully working, I even have some missions ready and working (mainly go from A to B missions, simple stuff).

And yes, I haven't updated here about my project in ages, but by the time it's fully converted to model based levels, you'll see how far my project got so far.

Thats' already a very big step in fact.
if the core (more difficult thing) is working, so now you've got just to improve
things

A public demo is currently roughly planned for january/february 2007, but it depends a lot on how much time I can spend on it between now and then. There will be a demo soon though, no doubt about that, as soon as I'm done with the model based levels,
