Hey comunity..

Well as of this second, i have desided to trace down Dave Willis (the co-creator of Aqua Teen Hunger Force) and am going to ask him if my friend and I can make a game out of it, and see if they will buy it off of us... I dont know how abouts that will work, but that is my goal.. here is a screen of 3 out of the 4 main characters:

Let me know what you think

Looks good so far, except that the ground texture doesn't seem to tile very good.

Keep it up!

What kind of game will this be?
Like, what does the player will have to do?

What I think...

1. I think Frylock might need some work.
2. Try using models for furniture and appliances
3. If you can, use a toon shader.

animated sprites in a 3D environment could give it a really authentic, yet quite unique look that could work surprisingly well, depending on how you present your game.

i don't know much about the show, but keep it up! dont get and drift away from it!!

I love Aqua Teen Hunger Force..

Aww its very hard making an unsolicited sale to a big IP franchise, though, really hard.. but even if you instead make it freeware for fans out there, you'll still get a lot of attention for it.

I've seen people do something like this with Invader Zim-- making a really good quality full episode, though it's totally got nothing to do with the team or production or legal rights to it. It was so good, it blew me away. And it was good enough to demonstrate that these people were professional quality animators. No way could they legally make any money on it, though. I'm in favor of making your own characters and IP that capture the essence of something you admire in a different way, like figuring out what it is that makes shows like aqua teen hunger force so cool, fundamentally, and using that to make something new.

I'm curious about the underlying mechanic too. What have you got? It would maybe make a good linear platformer or 3rd person rail game, like to drive a rolling meatwad down the street, another level with frylock flying along shooting lasers out of his eyes. No idea what shake could do, he's such a jerk, maybe a level where he trashes meatwad's bedroom. Um hand banana level at Carl's house. It's hard to make a good cartoon into a game, though, they totally trainwrecked beavis and butthead that way.

i agree with julz, keep it up
