Hi!

Wozzle is growing up.
Here (1.8MB, wmv) is a (very bad, but very small) ingame video to have an idea of the gameplay...
(music is just an example)

C&C please, thanx mercuryus

The gameplay looks quite FUN merc.
But I can`t judge the graphics because the video streaming isn`t from a great quality. It looks promising is my conclusion from this video

Cheers

indeed, the video quality isn't that great, but from what i could see the gameplay looks promising. Though the music was quite annoying, but that could have been on the video as well.

The music was just used as a proto type which he mentioned in his post

the first idea i don't undestand

Time is counting down and letters dissappear every once in a while (every 3 or 5 seconds or something), goal should be to get an as high as possible score with less and less letters untill there are none. Perhaps you could also randomly spawn new letters to keep it from becomming rather impossible. A good way to keep it interesting would be if the letters that appear and disappear are going to do so faster and faster so it will require very fast thinking to make some words with them?

(if you still don't understand, i'll make a picture of what I mean )

Cheers

Oh yes please make a picture of it ... or ... no wait ... i think i got it

That's a great idea, maybe i will make the letters randomly vanish slowly (transparency->100%) and replace them with a new one if it's gone (even if it's on the table and OK is not pressed). That makes it even more difficult.

And before I forget... I've uploaded a better movie here (avi/mpeg4, 15MB).

thanx and so long, mercuryus

PS: the music in the game can be choosen (4 differnt styles: ambiente, pop, techno, various) and you will be able to use your own mp3-files for the music.

Looks like a great and funny game. I also like the name of the game a lot ...reminds me a bit of "frazzle"
