Hi,

I rendered a texture for you to play around with normal-mapping shaders with and without specularity. You can add the spec-map into the alpha channel if you need it.

Hey, nice one. A shader use all this maps would be cool Somewhat like a parallax specular mapping.

Yes. That would be fine. Though the sphere plug-in can do that.

Yes. I mainly use "The GIMP". But sometimes I get some help from Genetica2 and MapZone to create procedural stuff. Lightwave helps me to create 3d templates and makes the final rendering.
