I'm a coder, not an artist  Frank_G: Thank you. I do plan on continuing, I'll contact you. Zwecklos: I'll send you a PM about the physics later... Sorry, no soft-shadows yet... Recording with Fraps slows down the game alot. The camera is temporary. I'm going to add a more advanced system soon. The player only walks for now. I need to find a better player model. As for physics, I don't know about angular damping and such, the newton documentation does not cover this, so I'll google it. This was just a preview...

lol, there was, but it rendered too slow, so I removed it.
I'm going to write my own water-shader (eventually) that only refreacts the reflections so I can speed it up a bit.

lol, gotta agree with him, the first thing that came to mind with me was indeed that model...
also, try changing to way the spider rotates, it looks like it's hovering. Sylex looks great in there, and as allready said, change the collision on the camera

Rather cool, but in my opinion it's too bright for a game called "Darkness"  I loved that spider model, especially it's run and attack animations, the only thing that is missing is turn animation As it was already mentioned, video looks slow, and the player is hovering, that looks strange. But i understand that its not finished, so keep it up!

@Molotov & Gamesaint: Terribly sorry for borrowing your model. It's the only one that I could find at the time. I'll remove it immediatly. The model borrowed from the sims was not shown, It'll come soon. As I said before, I'm NOT an artist! I currently do not have any material to work with, so I'm borrowing these models for testing purposes. I'm simply working with what I have. The spider did not include a turning animation, but I'll see if I can work one out. The camera's already fixed, that was just for testing. The level is also for testing. I plan on using night landscapes and indoor levels as well. The player only had a walk animation, so it only walks  I'll try and fix all these soon and post more previes!
