broozar: This is an experiment like every new package. I will see how good it sells and after that we will decide if we go on with sci-fi or medieval.
But I personally would like to create a character pack or a nature pack as my next project. Sci-Fi characters and sci-fi weapons could be a great task.
Maybe I will do a poll before I start.

Maybe I'll buy sphere[2] so I can actually use these textures in real-time (with my normal-mapping shader of course, lol)...

Thanks Ambassador. Here are 3 new images to show you how good real-time shader work with this texture-set: This crate is only a simple box. The details come from a parallax-shader. No Geometry except of 6 faces.

I use several tools to create textures. I do most of the job in a 2d-painting application (TheGIMP). Some inputs come from procedural shader generators (Lightwave, Genetica, MapZone). Random details come from procedural generators, filters and photos (via different blending modes). Details like arches, door-knobs and other stuff has to be painted manually.
Nice job man. This stuff looks real good.
