SEED_IT for 3DGS can be use with every version of 3DGS from 6.4x.
SEED_IT manages the seeding of objects by creating easy to use c-script.
It works like a wizzard or a configuration board.
You already (not made with SEED_IT) need the models you want to seed, the terrain you want to seed on (for surface seeding) and - most important - the seedmap (a simple image for the seeding informations (
see manual)).
Then you use SEED_IT to define the characteristics of the seeding (modeltype, density, orientation, motion, action, material, LOD, fog, ...) and finaly create the script you just have to include in your projects. Once included you just need to redefine the seeding characteristics and recreate the script for immediately results.
