I have two questions

1.Is possible to make a backround image in 3d view?
like bg_bmap instead of bg_color?
Something like BG_PATTERN in window?
or I have to make veeeeery big sphere model to create space "sky".
If it's impossible read question 2

2.How to enlarge sky cube with +6 bmap? because scale_x doesn't work
In help I've seen that the size depends of camera.clip_far but nothing happend.
2a. Why when I put any block to my level (not entity) sky cube disappearing?

1: just use a skycube or skysphere
2: how do you mean enlarge it, it just fits your level and that's it
3: if you don't put any block in your level nothing will show up because you always need 1 block in a level

BASIC programmers never die, they GOSUB and don't RETURN.

ad 1. I've been thinking about something like bacground image.
BTW flag "sphere" doesn't exist
ad 2. enlarege... mean enlarge... make bigger... more far from player (camera)
ad 3. nope... if you use 6.50 you should know that WED doesn't need anymore block in level to build it. "no geometry in level" is no longer show up
But when I put some block (even one) sky_cube disappearing

What is with "The Cube"

Wasn't it a PlugIn to create perfect enviroments

The only thing you need is a "*.x" file Editor

create a big cube around your level, "hollow" it and add the default texture with the skyflag set on it...

so just create veeeeery big cube or sphere model and move with player by the loop function...
but I want to avoid this for some reasons.
better idea is a sky with cube flag but I can't make them bigger.

i was under the impression that a skycube automatically rendered at infinite distance? perhaps u just need to change the clipping range?

i haven't done much with skies before.

hope this is helpful,
