My other thread seems to have disappeared, so here's a new one. The "flagship" title for LASSIE called "What Makes You Tick?" has been released. It's 30MB and for PC and Mac. Press F1 to bring up the menu. ESC will exit the game without warning. This version was created with the old LASSIE Director and this is a known issue with it. A LASSIE AS version is coming and does not have this problem.

LASSIE is a Flash-based adventure creation authoring kit.

looks very cool OB, i love the art style of " what makes you tick", as a 2-d artist myself, i am looking to play around with a 2d flash game in the future. i will read more about it, thanks for the link.

My Famous Quotes: "Hip hop is like a virus, infecting everyone and everything around it. Every form of media has some way, shape or form, assimilated hip hop into it." It has also mutated into other strains like, trip hop, house, rap, gangster, and conscious forms. Once you are infected with it, its with you for life."

Yes, I'm liking the style very much. The music and that very cool prologue is nice, as well. Another strong title that is coming is the zombie adventure "Nearly Departed." There's an early short demo floating around somewhere. It'll be freeware:

Finally, there's the episodic "Something Amiss." It's based on an existing property I think. I played the first one, but I haven't had a chance to play part 2:

Very nice atmosphere and story, the first adventure game that I finished - although with massiv help of the hints.

Everything fits nicely, except the walkanimations (unbelievable because the net is full of examples to get an idea how it should look like), and that the important things are way too small to even recognise them (a really bad manner considering the fact that in other games _any_ item, which you collect, gets wistles and stares that the player don't miss it.) (I stuck for almost an hour because I didn't notice that the dog found a mushroom, and not a stone in the mud! - as it looked like!)

This neat little tool called Lassie tempted me a bit to write an own adventure game, but I wouldn't do anything like adventures before I find a way to extend the freedom of choices significantly.
