Lol looks very good - it reminds me on a game called "nuclear-strike" (its a littlebit old)... but perhaps you can take some ideas from this game^^

great video though its hard to see lots of the foam and shoreline.

do you shift the foam texture or is there some twirl motion going on as well?

i loved to play nuclear strike back in the good ole amiga days.
i will have to check out if yours can compete with the legend

please change the camera to smooth movement/following and give the heli a more physical (dull) behavior.

e.g. like in this movie (avi, 2.5MB)

Nice job!

but now I think You are turning with keys and better idea is to change it to mouse moving Will be more smooth and accurate
f.e. depends of mouse pos x/y distance from the center of the screen
But I'm sure You know that

and maybe add some swing to rotors, especially to main rotor... some effect with descending alpha in time

and maybe add some delay wiht camera movement
