1) BRL do NOT sell Blitz3D on a CD. It is an Online only product.
2) You have not been in touch with BRL, and BRL have not been in touch with yourself; and since you do not have a valid BUID BRL are unlikely to respond in a kind manner. How may I ask, did you access the latest updates? These are only available from BRL themselves in your online account with them, created with your own valid BUID.

3) I don't think this project in itself is so bad, but the fact you have blatantly downloaded Blitz3D (or got a CD of someone else who downloaded a warezed Blitz3D...) remains a rather large issue.

Seriously. Think about what you're doing. The LEAST you could do here is go and legaly purchase Blitz3D from www.blitzbasic.com.

so do you think its okay if i buy a license from blitz3d ?

if yes.. its ok for me.

i am not a hacker / cheater at all.. i am just a programmer... and i tried to make a compiler in blitz3D.

if you says i want to get a online license.. i can pay for it !

before i buy another blitz3D (in online) i want to know. can i continue my product after buying ?

What SDK Means ?

Software Development kit - so cannot we create softwares using SDK ?
i can purchase Blitz3D SDK too.

ps : i am a fan of blitzbasic !

My opinion here; Despite other people complaining about it being a blitz3D wrapper- my view here is that although you are on the edge, you are not providing the compiler itself. I myself did a little project like this a couple of years back called Cygnus Novascript- there were no issues with it at all. If you were to be providing the Blitz compiler, that would be an issue.


You WILL need to purchase a Blitz3D license in order to continue with this.

Note that I am not BRL though, just a long term member. The final say will come from Mark Sibly.

Blitz3D SDK is just the Blitz engine in a DLL for use in C++/C# etc.

Do the right thing!

Whats the goal man if you have bought Blitz 3d than you have that licence where is the problem!!

The problem is that his license is invalid without a BUID. He will only get a BUID if he gets it from BRL.

with no BUID then BRL have not given out a license to use. Only BRL give out the license to use BRL software.

i can buy the license NOW (immdeiatly)! ,
but my question is ... will blitz allow me to develop this Compiler ?

because currently i don't have a login in blitzbasic.com , i cannot come & chat there.

will the Problem solved if i buy the license ?
