Btw: here's the reference picture for the house in the first shot. In reality it's a primary school: http://www.gs-eisenberg.de/buttons/bilder/schulansichten12.jpg
And origanally I wrote the street tool for IceX2 to create such levels

for less sterility you could also add cars on the street parked in random angles sizes colors and positions, because part of your problem is that you have way to many patterns.

some man holes would be nice, and different buildings, they all look almost the same. but it is really awsome!!

Wait, there isn't a "Make My Game Now" button?

Hmm, How do the houses get electric, telephone service and television?

Not two, not one.

Yes the steril look is my biggest problem with this city levels. More vegetation is a good idea. Have anyone more ideas to make it look not so steril at all?

Roads are dirty and often the tar is some sort of patchwork.
On your screens the roads are perfect... There are no people, no cars!

I know, easier said than done, but I think those are some reasons why it looks so sterile.

With electric cables under earth No you are right. If I add some cables above the street I guess it would be less sterility.

In the reference picture you can see that the scene has much more live simply through the fact that it has much deeper and more intensive light and shadows. Ok this might be difficult to realize with GS, but may be you can do something with some simple shaders, a soft bloom for example or some very soft specularity. More light would really give the scene more life. But it's already a very good job!

I've added some more different houses and some details. I've also added an unfinished car with environment mapping. I'm going to add more details:
