Doh!!! that sure did it...i feel stupid now...one of the oldest tricks in the book..
-Anyway, deleting the game save did work. I never use those game_load/save commands...I just read and write to a file(file open read/file open write stuff) and I never end up with that problem, so I over looked it.

oldschoolj: Thank you for your help. Acknex is so powerful these days that you can use a model with almost any poly count (10,000 - 20,000 polys will work fine). Please make sure to create several good looking animations and a skin that makes the model look good (1024x1024 pixels or so)

Trooper19: I was having a problem like yours. It was solved by moving the folder to the desktop. Don't ask me why. The previous downloads all worked from within my AUM folder.
