but you need to place the templates in the same workfolder as were you didsave yore wedproject and select cartemplates ore something never tried before

How can I change the speed and acceleration of the car? I'm using A7 btw and work with the templates. I'd be very pleased is someone could help

Like flits already said: Map properties -> Add the A7 Car Template to your fresh project and edit via Project Manager -> (select script: car player) Customize (edit: keyboard accel). I think you must make this 2.000 value greater to speed up the car?
