So I do not litter the forums I am providing a link to my(poorly laid out)web page...please visit and give some feed back...
the terrain texture is a variation of steempipes terrain shader(it basicaly is the same shader) So, if this is ever published(doubtfull, but who knows...maybe I'll sell it off my site for cheap..$25.00 or so) anyway.....

OK, I'm hot linking some screens
This is "Guss" charging up for a power attack...

and this is the over-world map...
Guss probably takes up a texel(maybe less) in map size.

good stuff . looks like it is very promising. As far as I can see from the screens, the only thing that it is lacking is more unique looking vegetation. Doesn't relaly fit well, to sharp.

Yes it does...I'm not done populating the world with...static meshes, I have enemies, but I'm still carving out my simple, but effective AI...outdoor areas are much easier than the indoor areas...those are what I'm currently cleaning up....all the basic code is in place for the entire game. Minus cut scenes and some sound.

Yes....Guss is roughly 3/4 the scale of the "warlock" model and the fog near dist is at 30,000 q. and fog far is set to double that(variable) and then I just set clipping to be and additional 200 q. beyond that.
...After all that it runs (-wnd) at 1400X(1200, I think) at 60-120 fps...with a geforce 7600 gs(cheaper model)...dual core AMD 4600. This is not a concern though..I'm planning for next gen to current gen cards and hopefully a release in 7-8 months..this is my first game(ever) so....
BTW that map is actually 25 pieces of terrain. I'm considering going higher detail with MDL's though...I just don't want to place each one, as they would have to be much smaller(to avoid popping into view).

it will be a while, I'm having some issues, as stated before, making the upgrade...but I would like to have one in a few months...I'm horrible with projecting times...I like to think of the game as a combo of "Diablo" and "Zelda". Zelda gameplay with Diablo's stats(plus more options...so maybe Sacred instead).
