If mass is calculated with PH_POLY set, then the mass distribution is based on where triangles are located. One thing you can try is adding additional triangles near the center of the model.

I'm thinking about buying A6 Pro for the physics for a racing game. But I would like to see the car physics in action first, would some one mind making and uploading a demo of the car physics so I can take a look at it? Thanks for your time.

Im working on a basic vehicle demo using a single entity for the vehicle. But Im having some problems. When the vehicle gets directly on a X or Y line it wont turn normally. I have included a demo for anyone can see. Use the arrow keys to move, hold both left and right for power turns (which ever one is pressed first is the turn direction for power turns). Car Demo Any suggestions are appreciated.

Question about the demo, will most vehicles slide around like they do in the demo or was that done to go along with the type of vehicle model that you used?

I wanted a pretty good slide for the type of vehicle I used. I plan to add a control factor in it so as you increase in skill level the handling gets better.

code:
var weight_ID; action weight { my.passable=on; my.invisible=on; my.tilt=90; phent_settype(my,PH_RIGID,PH_BOX); phent_setgroup(my,2); phent_setmass(my,100,PH_BOX); phent_setfriction(my,40); phent_setelasticity(my,50,10); phent_setdamping(my,20,20); weight_ID=phcon_add(PH_HINGE,my,you); phcon_setparams1(weight_ID,my.x,vector(1,0,0),nullvector); phcon_setparams2(weight_ID,nullvector,nullvector,nullvector); }
i added a passable weight below the car to make the center of gravity lower. it prevents that the car flips so easily. to connect it to the chassis i used a hinge with the limits set to 0.
