The wdl files are c-script, you just have to make sure not to generate a new file in WED, but assign your own .c file (or just test it from the code). To keep it structured you will have to place most of the entity's in WED, but new enemy's during runtime should be spawned using ent_create. Hope it helps
BASIC programmers never die, they GOSUB and don't RETURN.

Hi! When you are in SED and you save your file a .wdl is added. but if you write "title.c" the .wdl will not be added because you have specified that you want a .c file . Hope this helps. Michel in Ottawa

Your file must be named "A7_lite_C_project.c" and not "A7_lite_C_project.wdl". Then it will create a .c file for your script.
I did gave it a *.c extension, yet it creates a *.wdl...
But perhaps I did something wrong: *Made the "A7_lite_C_project.c" file and putted in the template_6 folder *opened the WED, and created a new map *saved the map as game.wmp in my project's folder *File->project manager *...and it magicly creates a game.wdl file
This is quite annoying, since when I rename the wdl it will give a pop-up on start, I can't include .c files in a .wdl, and as far as I have seen so far you can't give your models any behavior without having the project-manager set up right...
