Just to improve it , and give ideas for Roadmap :
- painting grass, trees or objects (like some Unity terrain editor) - a slot to choose a projective shadows for objects : you can choose a (bitmap)for a palm tree for example , lot lot more fast than real shadwos like in the video (used in AAA games :Far Cry etc ...) - a panel with a list of today shaders ready to apply to models - a panel for a special Wind shader (apply it ot palm, grass etc ..) adjust direction , height min max , speed - a panel special weather to choose a cube map sky to transition and special effects you need for a special case : for example : Sunny day : sky cube blue, sun, light wind, good lightening Bad Day tempes : sky cuve with dar sky , some storm effects, strong wind , dar day, some dust pushed by wind on the floor in some parts of level
Is shaders and dynamic light integrated ? Does it support lightmaps for meshes/levels mixed with a specular or normal map ?
Does it have physic panel like NeoAxis engine ?

wow, what a great program! is there a price for it yet, when will it be available? does it work with 3dgs, or is it a seperate program that can be used instead of 3dgs?
My Famous Quotes: "Hip hop is like a virus, infecting everyone and everything around it. Every form of media has some way, shape or form, assimilated hip hop into it." It has also mutated into other strains like, trip hop, house, rap, gangster, and conscious forms. Once you are infected with it, its with you for life."

@Fear: There will be three versions. One for conitec, that will be included into 3DGS. I don't know the needed version right now, but as long as you have this version, you won't have to buy anything. The other 2 versions will be sold by me, and - by contrast to the 3DGS version - will get more features in the future (like cutscene / particle / path / light managment editor). With the inexpensive (15-35€) version you won't be able to read/change the source code, with the expensive you'll be. @Blink: You can integrate GameEdit into your project by including one wdl file. You can normaly play your game, and than interrupt the game and edit the map-file ingame. @TheExpert: Thank you for your proposals 1) painting objects Already included. 2) List of todays shader, easy to implement Yes that was a very nice idea, which I implemented in a working session today. 3) weather / sky / wind control will be added in later versions. As already said, I've added a list of todays shaders (not completed atm) in GameEdit. You just have to select the wished shader out of a drop-down list, click the button "ADD" and you have the material + all needed events etc. in one of your project-wdl files. And the best: You wont have to restart to test the material. Just apply the action to a model and you'll see the shader without any restart or working pause. --> without restart, edit new material The next beta will be released today or tomorrow. best wishes, Timo Stark
