Since I had nothing to do today and I can`t really use 3DGS on this Computer, I decided rework the script page of the 3DGS Wiki. (You may noticed that I made some minor changes to the Shader and Shadertutorial pages in the last days.)
I`m going to add more scripts tomorrow and it would be great if you could help me with that through adding your own contributions or usefull scripts you may find on your hdd.
Tell me also if your are fine with the layout, may have a better idea or consider the old better.
I will let this replace the old page (with changes if wished) if nobody is against it.

You can find it here:
http://www.coniserver.net/wiki/index.php/Scripts_New_Design

It looks a bit crowded with headlines at the moment, but that should change soon if enough people are adding their scripts.

Please give me a lot of feedback on this
Slin

Good idea to rework that script page!
I'll see what I can contribute to it.

I, by the way, think that the wiki is a great place but unfortunatly not many of the users here seem to use it.
Nearly all things which are posted in the "User Contributons" forum could be added to the wiki, but almost nobody uses that opportunity.
Maybe the wiki link is too hidden? .. dunno

Indeed, Wiki is a helpfull place but atm, the UC is more popular since you have direct access to it while being a forum member. But to gain access at 3dgs Wiki, you need to registrate again. I personaly don't have a problem with it but maybe conitect should link Wiki directly so when you open Wiki, you're already registarted via the 3dgs forum Or maybe people are just being to lazy
Anyway, it think you're doing a great effort again Slin, we should have a hall of fame with the most famous/helpfull people like you
The layout is nice, the structure looks beter to me but I guess it will be even more organised when more users check their HDD for usefull stuff like you mentioned
Keep up the spirit, even if Wiki isn't that much used, your effort will pay off like always !!

Cheers

Frazzle

Thanks for your comments Xarthor and frazzle!

The usercontributions are a nice place to make your contribution a bit popular but it would be good if everyone who posts a script or shader here would also add it to the wiki which allows a much better overview and would give us a great library of Scripts/Shaders/...
I will add one or two more Scripts today and hope to find the time to add some more I find on my HDD when I am home in Germany in about one week.

And again, please give me some feedback on this and add something to the wiki.
Otherwize it gives me the feeling that it is not worth the effort to do anything with it because of no interest/need in it.

Thanks,
Slin

Good luck with that. And maybe you could cooperate with Realspawns wdl-library

In the upper right corner on the wiki is a lik which says "Login/Create a new account".
Create an account, log in and help to improve it

Slin, I just looked at the wiki - It looks amazing compared to what it used to; So many shaders!

Nice work, no doubt this will help so many people!

Thanks,
Adoado
