This is a simple plugin modul baased on shaders and wdl-scripts for A6-Pro. If you are interested in such a plugin please contact me here or via email: weinhold at wetain dot com.

That looks indeed amazing, and I'm interested.
However I have some questions:
- Any frame rate drops? what is the average frame rate you get using that method/modul ?
- I see only one light in that video, is it limited to one dynamic light only?
- Why A6 pro? (render to texture?)
- Have you tested it with A7 yet?

I'm extremely impressed! I'd be very interested in this.

I've only got one question, how's the performance?

Cheers

Great work!
couple of questions:
-will it work with A7
-what shadermodel does it use
-what is the fps drop
-what kind of lights does it support(sunlight, directional, omni, spot)
-may i edit the shader to add blur for example?
-what is the prise

Perhaps i'll buy it

I like it very much.

I have got some questions:
  • is it an object shader or post processing
  • will it work with normal mapping, cel shading a.s.o.?
  • is it possible to combine that with static shadows?
  • .. (add all questions from Shadow969 here)

>> Any frame rate drops? what is the average frame rate you get using that method/modul ?
You have to render the complete scene again for the shadows (without shaders aplied to the models). Due to the fact that A6 can render models relativ fast that should be usefull for a robust and fast shadowmapping.

>> I see only one light in that video, is it limited to one dynamic light only?
You can use more than one light but remember, every light will use one render_to_texture command more in the scene.

>> Why A6 pro? (render to texture?)
Yes

>> Have you tested it with A7 yet?
Yes and it works due to the fact that a7 is downward compatible. But you should use the new PPE effects in A7 which are mentioned in the upcoming/released BETA because of a nicer and even faster implimentation of this technique. We haven't done this yet.

>> what shadermodel does it use
2.0

>> what kind of lights does it support(sunlight, directional, omni, spot)
Sun, Omni, Spot. Becasue we use texture projection you can also cast some nice effects for the light -> projected textures.

>> may i edit the shader to add blur for example?
You can edit the shader anyway. However, we have implimented a blur shader which will avoid the hard/pixeled edges -> see the video.

>> what is the prise
Currently we don't know anything about the price because we want to see how the users here will react.

Maybe we will release a demo so everybody can see how this thing work.
