Also ich würde verschiedne Modi machen. Story, Deathmatch usw.

Man könnte noch eine art King of the Hill mach nur halt als kampf um eine Ölquelle in der Map mitte. Wer die bspw. 5 Minuten hält gewinnt das Match.

Wie wäre es mit Dronen? Ein Mech kann Dronen aussenden, um das Feindgebiet bzw. momentane Kampfhandlungen im Vorfeld zu erfassen ohne sich selbst zu gefährden.

Hier gibt's allerdings eine Zweiteilung:

1. Die Drone agiert selbstständig oder...
2. Man hält den eigenen Mech an und steuert nur die eigene Drone.
Mech und Drone gleichzeitig zu steuern ist weniger sinnvoll.

Die von der Drone gelieferten Bilder kann man via RenderToTexture auf einem Bildschirm innerhalb des eigenen Mech darstellen. Somit ergeben die Instrumente im Cockpit auch Sinn.

I really like the idea with the drones.
However I would suggests to use a solution where the player is only able to control either the drone or the mech.
If he is controlling the drone, he cannot see whats around the mech etc., but there should be some sort of alarm system to notice the player about an incoming enemy or an attack.
If the player quits the drone-control, the drone destroys itself.

Something different which is, from my point of view, pretty cool is a "light" mech class, which can jump and also move faster than the other mechs, but has a weak armor and weak primary weapons.
Still the goal using the mech would be to quickly enter the battlezone or the enemy base, drop a time-bomb and move out asap.
This way he can do huge damage as long as he survives.
If the player dropped a bomb is then killed, the bomb should be "killed" too.

In this way I am searching for ideas for a mech like game, called "mechanical strike".
Maybe you want to join our conversation and give some good tips for a genre like this.

Habe heute die Zeit gefunden, mit verschiedenen Styles zu experimentieren.
Mir gefällt so eine Toon-Mischung am besten für die Modelle.
Bevor ich aber in eine total falsche Richtung drifte, würde ich mich über Eure Meinung freuen.

Wenn du hier auf schnelle Action setzt, dann nimm Toon.

Aber riesige, schwere, langsame Mechs, die müssen dreckig und rostig und realistisch aussehen. Da braucht man nicht mal so viele Shader, weil eh alles ziemlich matt ist.
Ich steh eher auf realistisches Aussehen, mit so nem Toonmech könnte ich mich nicht identifizieren.

[Edith]Ich mag diese bunten Mechs eh nicht, da sind viele zu viele Farben dran. Also wenn heutige Panzer so organge Streifen hätten... die Modelle vorher fand ich besser[/Edith]

ich weiss nicht zu diesem mech find cih passt der toon style nicht wirklich. aber wenn du die Texturen verändern würdest würde es schon besser aussehn;)
