ok, here's a collision issue, all of my c_move functions are set to glide, and i set my entities' min_ max_ collision settings, but they still get stuck in some entities, is there anything i can do to prevent this?

Try setting the polygon flag
EDIT: you could also try this:

Code:

my.fat = on;
my.narrow = on;
wait(1);
c_setminmax(my);

Mind that c_updatehull can be used too but there are a few restrictions:
- it's slower
- use it when really necessairy, like after a mesh manipulation or sort like
- it doesn't check for intersection

Cheers

You could try to avoid this everlasting 3dgs bug (yes...this is a bug!) by using sort of a slight bounce-back together with event_impact.

Well that could work as well but the amount of calculations would be far to much since you can simply do it via the methodes the manual advices

How is that done loopix?
Could you share it?
Thanks
One way is using blocks(that sucks, and would take days just for that, and probaly wont work too)
I have the same problem you do. Other problem i have is that when the player is not at the top of an object it starts floating until it is at the top.
What can be doing this? And sometimes sinks at the objects, and when i attack it becomes normal.

i would like to know how to calculate a bounce back as well, and i'm not using blocks at all, so it would be helpful, i used the min/max values to set my bounding box and used c_setminmax to implement it, and if you can give me a kind of bounce back i'd really appreciate it

Silly question, but are you using c_rotate as well?

no because c_rotate stops me and i get stuck more often than using pan, tilt, roll. i mean that when i run to far to a model, then i will get stuck my ai gets stuck to walls more than i do, but i get stuck in them when meleeing, and i'm not changing the min/max values while playing, it's got to do with the collision detection of models, i know this much

You need to get it working with c_rotate.

First, make sure you have the latest update installed.
If it still doesn't work, do a search for c_rotate on this forum to see if you are missing something obvious.
If all else fails, and you think you've found a bug in c_rotate, report it in the Bug Hunt forum (read the sticky thread there on how to report bugs).
