i'm using 6.5 and if i update to 6.6 it will make alot of my tgas and stuff disappear, i've tried it once, also i have used c_rotate with it as well, and got the results i mentioned, i wouldn't turn if i was close to someone, and that's bad for gameplay, even worse than getting stuck

If you are using A6, you might want to stick with the old collision methods (e.g. move()).

I'm away from my work PCs right now (and drinking egg-nog ), so I may be wrong, but I think 6.5 still had the old collision model along with the new one. The old model was crude, but easy to use (almost no way to get stuck as long as you don't scale your object and you use move()).

no version 6.5 has the new collision or at least thats what the main page says in the versions sections.

And the problem sure isn't about the scale. I have a my game posted in the user requests, it's posted as "Game" if you download it and take a look i would apreciate alot.
I'm sure i'm having the same problem modeldeveloper is having.
Modeldeveloper could you please dowload it too and check it.
I have the problem with the stair almost solved. I forgot to add mod_stairs action to it
Now the rest of it is breaking my brain apart :S
I added a mace to the floor tryed every type of collision with it and it just stucks in there...

i'll look into it when i can, i gotta go help a friend finish something today, but when i have time i'll check out your game, i would post my entire movement code, but i'm not sure it's all understandable by anyone but me i don't have many comment marks, and alot of it is evading and different movement for space, ground, low gravity, etc

Doug is right, my old turret code is changing the pan/tilt value directly, any my player get stuck when collide with the turret. After change the rotate code using c_rotate, the "stuck bug" gone.

I am using 7.07 and lite-C, but I think the function is same in C-script.

i'm now using 6.60, so the problem is rare i might try c_rotate again
