Hello,
I'm known as Inestical at these boards, known for doing actually nothing and haven't done a single full scale game. Only game I've been part that has been released is X-Cube 2. I'm professional coder and scripter, that means that even though I keep myself as an half-artist I still lack the real artistic eye. Also I don't have too long experience on modelling, skinning and animating.
Which points out the actual meaning of this thread. We (me and Ambassador) are looking for possible recruitment on our so called "RPG Project" that Ambassador "won't even fart against" until we are 100% sure the project can be completed. We have good talents in programming and have little artistic eye
(it's just me actually, Ambassador is very very good with stuff like that). Currently both of us are dumped on our own projects
(me on making high scale status system and Taitaja08-competition semifinal project and Amb on his own secret evli stuff he's always doing).
We are looking for, of course, talented and highly skilled people having the ambition on creating stuff. That stuff can be anything from a polygon to full games. To be exact, here's the list of slots we wish this kind of people to fill up:
- 3D Artist, works on both organic and static modelling
- Texture and skinning artist, works with the 1024x1024 things that are used to give some life to the world
- Animator, works on.. yeah animating and creating the movemental life to the world of [censored].
- Secondary scripter, works on small routine stuff, such as AI
- Shader designer, we can fill this up too, but real talent is always welcome
- Storyline people, I'll mostly cover the storyline, but even I can sometimes get blackout and need people to help me on these.
- Quest people, thes guys/gals will work with the sidequests, I can cover this, but multiple brains is always a huge plus.
- Audio artist, Ambassador is currently the main audioman, but other talents are welcome, this includes SFX and ambience + situative background music
We can actually fill all of these.. But the result would be crappy. Even though Ambassador's talents are awesome, his ambition to finish things isn't the best.
This is not active recruitment, but I want to see if there is actually people who want to create huge/not so huge community/indie project.
Yes. the community word busted me, this is unpaid stuff. Meaning that if you want money you have 3 choises:
a) wait until we finish the game, publish and get rich
b) steal all the artwork and sell them
c) not work with us and get a real job
I think I'm open for questions and bashes. Come on, give me your best shot!
