After a recent Windows update my Firefox Mouse Gestures suddenly won't work anymore. That is, the default mouse gestures it comes with are all erased. Reinstalling doesn't get them back and there's no 'restore to defaults' button. Any ideas? I hate to browse around without Mouse Gestures.

Then another thing happened at the same time. After the Windows Update all my Firefox Bookmarks were erased too. Where does Firefox normally store those and will they be lost forever now?

Forefox stores them all in its own format within its own folders from memory.
I gave up updates as they always stuff up my machine, like yesterday, XP SP3 blue screened me just like some previous updates.

Only updates I get now are installers etc where it is criticle for my work.
