Well if you really want something tactical you should go for Operation Flashpoint... Another thing I really liked is Sven Coop for Half-Life (2). Considering ET:QW I'd recommend getting Enemy Territory as it's free or go for UT2004 as it's cheap and the assault gameplay is nearly the same as in ET:QW (i.e. bunnyhopping and very fast combats) plus you can look for some nice mods...  thats what we have been playing so far. but it has one big disadvantage and that is the loading times between each start. it is a real fun killer if you have to wait around 5 minutes till everyone is ready, just because you want to restart a level. but maybe thats just a faulty lan-setup?? btw, we tried wolfenstein:enemyterritory, but we couldnt find each other . only internet games where found
