It reminds me a bit of Shenmue. Good work.

... words, ok, i'll be honest... the screenshot immediately reminded me of a scene from HalfLife2...

no kidding... it looks that good...

i just hope that the transition to the game engine won't degrade the graphics any...

as far as the fog... how are you guys planning on implementing it in the game?

well the fog is easly implemented.Loco can explain it better
Before it was done through sprite movement and normal fog,but now it will be more complex with wind movement and stuff.

I like the project quite a bit. Looks good.
Hope it plays well too

wouldnt it be a lot faster to use post shaders to render fullscreen fog onscreen??

Atmosphere is quite important for such a game so the fog should move when the camera moves.

When I am done with some shift and blow with the wind fog that looks great and does drop the FPS significantly, we will post some screenshots of it in the level. Unfornately, what I thought would take a couple hours tops to accomplish has turned into an obsession for about 4 days straight now. The perfect fog without a large FPS drop with everything we have going on, plus the shaders, and the high poly-count isn't nearly as easy as I thought it would be. I really want to keep the FPS in the 60ish range.

I will not surrender to the fog! We will prevail!

the shots are looking good, but the textures are WAY to blurry (just my opinion).
