Great work.

Is there any way you can fix the skating thats happening when the characters walk.

Either shorten the distance traveled per foot step, or speed up the walk animation.

On the whole the project is looking really good.

Ken

CHRISTIAN game programmers in Israel? That's amazing! Yo Zohar, I made a scene depicting John's description of the throne of God from the book of Revelation you might wanna see, I'll email it to whoever wants it but I don't have a website to put it on. Actually, hopefully someone might wanna put it on their site so I don't have to email it too many times. It's always awesome to see games that aren't violent (like the most popular video games out there!)!

-->...CHRISTIAN game programmers in Israel?

huh??? yeah, finding the one or other christian there could be very tricky

As mentioned above: if you can get the "duck walk" out of the characters it would be great and i really like the whole concept a lot.

And the best part of it: it shows the massive temple and temple stairs and you can get the idea how the young jesus must have felt seeing this monument for the first time.

Good work.

i am just missing a few romans here and there... the typical eyecandy

cheers and have a nice day

It must have been a very big task creating Jerusalem! It is a very big place! Must have been fun doing it all The WED design is amazing and the textures are excellent. Great work!

thanks you all for the comments .

"Is there any way you can fix the skating thats happening " - yes , its actually to fix the animation speed , will be fixed .

" I made a scene depicting John's description of the throne of God from the book of Revelation you might wanna see,.." - i would be happy , i can open a ftp account on my site , so you can upload it .

"And the best part of it: it shows the massive temple and temple stairs and you can get the idea how the young jesus must have felt seeing this monument for the first time. " - more then that , you are able also to walk inside the temple mount , and that realy huge , still working on that so i didnt put it .
more then that most of the ingame cinematics are now shown like the miracles and the crucifixion .

"i am just missing a few romans here and there... the typical eyecandy" - well , not me to be the spoiler , but you have some long scenes with roman while playing :1) in a roman "bar" 2)a chasing scene 3)some cinematics ...
but you right i should have include more romans inside the video and to show the governor .

"It must have been a very big task creating Jerusalem! It is a very big place! Must have been fun doing it all The WED design is amazing and the textures are excellent" - it wasn't easy , but we make this project with love . we visited dozens of time in jerusalem (well, as it looks today ) to make it the best we can in a 3d .

things that not seen in the movie but inside the game :
1) cinematics which includes : walking on the water, bread and fish,Jesus healing people , Jesus healing lazarus, jesus enter jerusalem , the accident in the temple, last supper, the ambush , the crucifixion , the coming back .
2) many conversations , which will give you the feeling you are part of the era . include many persons ( preists, romans, apostles, merchants , spies (yes spy), many more ...) some will give you missions to do , some will give you valuable info which only avaiable from reading many many books.
3) cool atmospheric music .
4) places that are not shown and are in the game : the whole area of nazareth, caparneum (here you can see only the synagouge),mt of olives, golgotha , antonia fortress , the rest of the Jerusalem area + the temple itself .
5)inventory and trading system with the local currency

so , i hope it will be finished soon . so everyone can enjoy it and learn from it .

thanks

Zohar

Hi Zohar,
I am now downloading the game. Will look forward to seeing it.
Glad to hear that you are making progress. I like the name of your website -- it means "to become" or "becoming", doesn't it?
Wishing you all the best,
Jim

Hi Jim

well , true . ginomai is a greek word which mean :to become, i.e. to come into existence . to arise, appear in history, come upon the stage .
and with the 3d "Ginoami3d" it get a double meaning .

thanks

Zohar
