Demo of "Tower"

Tower is a fun game for the whole family. A game where you can shoot lazers and rockets have massive explosions and nobody dies. You learn how to play Tower very quickly but may never fully master this 3d puzzle game.

I'll have a webpage up for tower very soon. While it doesn't say it in the help documents, you can press H for help and you can also use the controller to play the game.

Hi Fox,

Very nice game, good concept.

I prefer to move the camera with the mouse,
Ctrl key to fire laser and Alt key to fire missile.

Just found 2 typo error :
(+) : accelrate should be accelerate
(rocket) : aresenal should be arsenal

Ok, I'm guessing you mean to move left with the left mouse and right with the right mouse, but how would you go up and down? Prehaps the mouse wheel.

Let me know on that as I plan to set up a "set key" page and I can make sure you can set it up that way.

I mean mouse move to move L/R/U/D, but mouse button + wheel
are also welcome. Set up a key configuration option is great.

Can you change the laser beam to more brighter+glow effect, thinner
and straight?

This game is great! O_O

I love it!

The controls are good, it has nice action and well fitting music!

Only sometimes (at the bottom of the tower) the shot goes much steeper down than the crosshair.
And for the menu panel maybe use a tga texture, there are some small holes in it.

I have to play another round now!


Edit:

Am I right, that rockets can only be shot at undestroyable blocks?

Glad you liked the game.

You are right, the rockets can only be shoot at IND blocks.

What happens when you fire the lazers is it find a triangle with C-trace and then shoots at the orgin of that block. This works great as long as you don't point at the platfrom, Which is way to big for that effect. I'm going to make the platfrom work a bit different here soon because of that annoyance. Should be read in the next update.

Can't you set it passable to prevent that?

The 'center-shot' is nice.

Edit:

You really should make the Score visible after finishing a level!!!

And when finishing a level, you should wait for the falling stones to reach their final position before creating the "scoretower"!

Just completed the demo

1400 points on 1st round, 100 in the 7 combo

i think getting 25000 points is impossible with the 4 levels the demo gives you... i tried for a while, and the highest i could get was around 12000. And i agree with the ShoreVietam about those two problems, they are a little annoying, but dont really affect the game. Great job!!!

You're suppose to try that In "gauntlent" which is a never ending level desighned for best scores.

If you need ideas for other victory cases, for example "Destroy 10 5+ IND blocks".

I had only ~8700 Points after the last level...
