Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, it was the best place I could think of at the moment...
I am creating a lighting "special effect", and I am using panels for flares. My problem is that I need the edges of the images to fade away, like the flare effect does. However, the flare effect isn't available to panels, so I now need to find another way to do this.
I thought about just positioning the sprite in the world, but I need it to appear over all other entities. I tried using an alpha channel, but it's just not working for me (I'm probably not doing it right).
Does anyone know any good way to do this?
